Each panel has a 3-inch adjustment range to fit various track heights. The package includes:

Quick & Easy Installation: Adjust Step-Over (Optional): The panel comes with an adjustable step-over feature that allows you to change the height of the pet door above the ground. Use a #2 Phillips head screwdriver to adjust the step-over setting. The top of the flap should be at least 1" above the highest point of your pet's back.

Apply Weatherstripping: Enhance energy efficiency by applying the provided weather stripping along the edges of the panel. The Thermo panel also includes a center post strip for extra protection against drafts and heat loss.

Adjust Spring Mechanism: Loosen the height adjustment locks at the top of the panel with a flathead screwdriver to adjust the spring mechanism. This easy installation process allows you to add a pet door to your home, apartment, or vacation rental without causing any permanent damage.

Insert into Slider Track: Insert the panel into the upper track, push against the spring mechanism, and swing the bottom of the panel over the threshold. Secure the panel by tightening the height adjustment locks for a perfect fit.

Measuring For Your Pet Door: Find Your Flap Size: Measure your dog to ensure the flap is positioned at least 1 inch above the highest point of their back. Consider the height difference between your floor and the outdoor ground to ensure your pet can comfortably step through the door.

Find Your Height Adjustment Range: Measure your sliding glass door track to determine the appropriate height adjustment range needed for installation.

Check Your Track Width: Ensure your sliding glass door track is at least 1" wide to accommodate the Thermo Panel.
